Following an extensive range overhaul , brand re-design and development of new POS tools, Odyssey is set on establishing itself as the brand of choice for tradesmen looking for quality worktops in a flexible offering that will give them less waste, less cost and more value. The range is backed by Bushboard’s lifetime product guarantee.

Odyssey offers 44 designs with 12 new additions that make up a collection that has been well researched to offer popular sellers and fashionable trends. All 44 designs are available in matching upstands which provide a neat finishing solution at the back edge of the worktop. 42 designs are available in both 3m and 4.1m lengths in both 600 and 900mm widths which means easier handling with vans, while also reducing waste off-cuts on jobs and helping to keep costs down. The worktops are available in a choice of three edge profiles, with 16 worktops offered in Bushboard’s unique Q3 ‘slab-cut’ edge profile on the newest quartz, woodgrain and granite designs which delivers looks that are high on style, but still low on cost. 15 designs are also available as contract 28mm worktops in both 600mm and 900mm widths.

Recognising the massive growth of splashbacks as an alternative to kitchen tiling, Odyssey now offers 23 in matching designs to the worktops as well as 10 plain colours, embossed and metallic effects for consumers who want a fashionable contrasting look with their worktop. Splashbacks are available as a midway panel in 3000 x 600 x 8mm and as a hob panel in 1500 x 1200 x 8mm. The embossed Rococo designs are available as full panels in 3000 x 1200 x 8mm.

The installer’s butt and scribe joints can be warrantied with Odyssey by using BB Complete, a unique sealant and adhesive that is part of the Odyssey offering and gives tradesmen the assurance of a long-lasting and professional worktop installation. There are 20 colours available which provide perfect colour-matches to all 44 worktop designs. For multi-purpose use on bonding, jointing and sealing, there is a 290ml cartridge and the six top-selling colours are also available in a handy 80ml cartridge for simple jointing. BB Complete outperforms silicone, which although commonly used by the trade is known to break down over time. When BB Complete is used for an Odyssey job, Bushboard will automatically warranty the installation for three years, giving the tradesmen absolute peace of mind, as well as a selling point and benefit for his customer.

Brand new point of sale materials are also available for merchant outlets. Compact in design, the rotating display stand can be floor-standing or will sit on a kitchen worksurface for in-store flexibility. It contains handy sized 95mm x 135mm worktop blocks, highlights 10 contemporary splashback designs, displays tubes of BB Complete in a choice of colours and has a brochure dispenser holding 15 brochures.
