Bushboard and International Decorative Surfaces have teamed up to offer free Evolve training for worktop fitters all over the UK.

Throughout August and September, technical experts Paul Graham and Steve Ball will be providing in-depth, hands-on training to professional fitters looking to learn from scratch how to fit Evolve compact laminate, and those who want to brush up their technique.

Evolve is a super slim, super tough worktop at 12.5mm and unlike other compact laminates can be fitted using standard tooling with a straightforward method. The training sessions are designed to demonstrate best practice and prompt questions from fitters keen to perfect the Bushboard method, down to final touches. Paul and Steve will be talking tools, cutting, shaping, detailing and finishing.

The most versatile worktop on the market, Evolve is solid all the way through, making it ideal for fitting undermount sinks, engraving drainer grooves, and creating bespoke shelving, all of which will be covered in the comprehensive training.

In response to a long waiting list of installers hoping to brush up their skills with the best, the training will take place free of charge at IDS locations all over the UK during the summer, with a view to continuing the sessions later in the year thanks to an already high volume of interest.
