Vacancy: FP & A Business Partner

 

Principal Purpose:

  • Financial planning and analysis (FP&A) provide senior management with a forecast of the company’s profit and loss and operating performance for the upcoming quarter and year
  • These forecasts and budgets inform management on the progress and effectiveness of the company's strategic plans and investments
  • Business Partner to the UK Management team in providing management accounting information and analysis for decision making
  • A key player in special projects to drive business improvement and business strategy

Principal Elements:

  • Prepare quarterly forecasts and annual budgets for all UK companies, review with senior management
  • Continually develop company budgeting and forecasting processes
  • Review monthly trading results for all UK companies providing commentaries and analysis of business performance that incorporate group reporting requirements
  • Provide financial analysis and commercial insight that supports management decision making
  • Be a key team member in special projects that focus on business growth strategies, process optimisation and capital allocation

Requirements:

  • A degree and experience in the financial field e.g. Accountancy or Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Business Studies
  • Qualified / Finalist ACMA or ACA qualification
  • Experience within Financial control / reporting, commercial, strategy / planning and analysis
  • Well-developed IT skills
  • An analytical, challenging mindset
  • Negotiation skills and the ability to develop strong working relationships
  • Commercial and business awareness
  • Good communication skills – both written and verbal
  • Deadline-orientated and an ability to stick to time constraints

Vacancy: Business Support Co-ordinator

 

Principal Purpose

To ensure that all customer touch points receive the highest care and attention in order that sales grow across all ranges within the Wilsonart UK portfolio. Working with Installers, Fitters, End Users, Retailers and Distributors, the main purpose is to provide an internal technical support, including providing installation advice, product advice, samples and marketing input to develop the Installer Network. End user support is also fundamental to the role and involves taking inbound calls and advising customer on technical and consumer related information.

 

Principal Elements

  • Contact distributors, customers and installers regarding training and sales opportunities.
  • Making outbound calls to installers and distributors to discuss core products in Wilsonart UK ranges, arranging online training sessions and support the installers on technical queries
  • Gain Market and competitor information during outbound calls
  • New Product development sell in for marketing material
  • Making outbound calls for new installer/fitter business with a view of introducing Wilsonart Product ranges, agree participation in training sessions and arranging for samples stands and distributor visits
  • Receiving Inbound calls from End users looking for product advice, display information and reseller information and advising accordingly
  • Receiving inbound calls from installers requesting technical advice and providing installer information
  • Collate information to complete admin tasks following calls with retailers
  • Ensure installer training courses are full by arranging with retailers, distributors and installers for each area

Vacancy: Stock Controller

Principal Purpose

As the Stock Controller, you will be responsible for product inventory maintenance and assisting the Warehouse and Distribution Manager to deliver strategy linked to the business X-Matrix. There is a range of SKUs that you will be responsible for, and you will be working in partnership with your key stakeholders such as sales, CSD, Logistics & SC to ensure products are being moved efficiently and effectively. You will be responsible for analysing stock levels and advising of issues and potential corrective measures to prevent re-occurrence. You will also be a key member of the overall logistics team ensuring that we fulfil OTD and work towards overall operational excellence.

Principal Elements

  • Take shared ownership of Goods In, from supplier booking through to delivery receipt, identification and reconciliation of stock within WinMan
  • Continually monitor and refine our on-hand availability of raw materials and finished products, to maintain optimum levels vs demand
  • Investigating stock anomalies and advising/implementing corrective measures to prevent any reoccurrence of issues
  • Implement proactive improvements to guarantee that the details of inventory are always correct
  • Maintain stock accuracy and integrity through a comprehensive daily cycle count programme
  • Produce monthly reports showing stock loss and other throughput reporting
  • Assisting with the demands of the warehouse / logistics administration
  • Supporting the Warehouse & Distribution Manager as and where required with any reasonable requests.

Job qualifications and requirements

  • 3+ years’ experience in a similar role, with a practical understanding of warehousing and stock management
  • Fully proficient with all Microsoft programs, specifically Microsoft Excel
  • Familiar with ERP led stock control (WinMan Preferred but not essential)

Vacancy: Quality Technician

 

Principal Purpose

  • Assist/support with quality issues raised / identified within manufacturing and logistics operations.
  • Ensure that the product meet customer’s requirements (both internal and external) at each stage of its manufacturing process.
  • Support in handling customer feedback and complaints.
  • Carrying out relevant testing and where necessary take corrective action to rectify non-conformance issues.
  • Report quality issues and ensuring the Business Management Systems are adhered to at all stages.
  • Conduct internal and process audits with support on other audits as needed.
  • Write reports and provide information to management
  • Liaise and communicate with other departments as needed.
  • Commercial and financial awareness with a full understanding of how failures can impact business finances, customer satisfaction and future orders.
  • Ensure all incidents of non-conformance are recorded.
  • Assist/support with the calibration system, ensuring all equipment is correctly calibrated.
  • Assist / support with other businesses management systems as needed, such as environmental, energy, health and safety.
  • Support in the Timber related Chain of Custody procedures and practices to ensure we meet the FSC and PEFC management standards at all times.
  • Liaising and reporting on the performance with other Wilsonart Business units around quality and other management systems.
  • Supporting on new product development initiatives.

  • Knowledge of Timber related Chain of Custody Management Standards (FSC or PEFC)
  • Experience of working in Quality Assurance would be advantageous
  • Understanding of engineering drawings

Vacancy: Multi-Skilled Production Operative

 

Principal Purpose

  • To work in a fast paced production facility manufacturing high volumes of laminated wall panels for bathrooms and kitchens, production of these laminated wall panels will require the operation of various machines within our busy production facility, the ideal candidate will have experience in working on PVA and PUR Panel Bonding Lines, Laminating Presses, Beam Saws and Double End Tenons to prepare Square Edged and Tongue & Groove panels for dispatch to our warehouse for distribution to our customers
  • Any other duties as requested by your Team Leader or Manager in a safe and timely manner

 

Principal Elements

  • Experience operating fast paced panel laminating and wood working machinery
  • Excellent team ethics
  • Must work well under pressure with tight deadlines
  • Experience working with KPI’s an advantage
  • Knowledge of OEE Data collection an advantage
  • Quality awareness and attention to detail essential
  • Must be flexible and available for occasional morning, evening or weekend overtime when required

  • Counterbalance forklift truck experience an advantage

Mon – Thurs (08.00/16.30), Fri (08.00 – 15.30)

Transport

There are no public transport links to Shore Laminates so candidates will either drive, cycle or walk. Car sharing is not encouraged during Covid -19.
