Bushboard upgrade Omega worktop range with some metallic laminate stunners
Living up to its reputation for laminate innovation, Bushboard has upgraded its best-selling Omega worktop range with a selection of show-stopping metallic worktop and splashback designs.
There are four new Quartz metallic designs for worktops in Cinder, Chocolate, Vanilla and Ruby offering a versatile palette of contemporary neutrals and a vibrant statement colour. The Quartz family complements the existing Strass metallics, giving retailers more choice in what are proving to be the hottest selling designs of the moment. The new Quartz designs combine larger metallic particles, high definition terrazzo print with a high gloss texture to deliver superb aesthetics, while being easy to install and maintain. The new worktops come in the usual Omega sizes of 3000 x 600mm, 4100 x 600 / 665mm and breakfast bars in 3000 /4100 x 900mm depending on design.

“Metallics are proving a strong seller for retailers because they salute the luxurious looks of polished stone but are easier to install and more affordable for the consumer, so we wanted to give them an even wider choice to capitalise on sales opportunities.”
Reflecting the growing use of laminate splashbacks as a neat finishing detail, there are three new contemporary tones of Ambre, Champagne and Graphite enhanced with a subtle pearlescent sheen. Completing the line up are the unique Rococo designs which pay homage to the trend for glamour in the home. Available in black or white, they feature a flower motif and a frosted gloss texture. Splashbacks come in 3000 x 600 x 8mm and 1500 x 1200 x 8mm.
For the retailer, Bushboard offers a comprehensive support package. This includes a brand new 28 page brochure, A6 samples and laminate swatches, plus a worktop display stand containing the entire range in large sample blocks. Bushboard also has a dedicated Customer Service Team on hand to provide product and technical support to retailers and consumers over the telephone, as well as despatching samples and information within 24 hours.
