Bushboard News: Omega's Silver Frost
Bushboard Omega's Silver Frost shines out as a worktop
Silverfrost from Bushboard’s Omega laminate worktop range is a shining example of how technical innovation delivers top notch design. The design pays homage to stainless steel but offers a more affordable alternative.
Metallic laminate splashbacks are already a proven seller for Bushboard, but now the company has cracked the technology to produce postformed worksurfaces offering all the durability, practicality and easy maintenance typically associated with laminate. To date, metallic laminates have been restricted to vertical usage only.
Silverfrost offers a uniform stainless steel-inspired finish with a subtle shimmering effect achieved by the combination of high print definition and texture. Its neutral design makes it ideal to complement plain gloss or exotic woodgrain doors.
Says Stuart White, managing director at Bushboard:
“Metallic effects in worksurfaces are big news at the moment because they offer a high end look while being very affordable compared to stainless steel, granite or engineered stone. They are visually engaging and give a feeling of luxury, while being every-day practical and easy maintenance.”
Silverfrost is available in 4100mm x 600mm worktops, 4100mm x 665mm and 4100 x 900mm breakfast bars, 3000mm x 600mm x 8mm midway panels, 1500mm x 1200mm x 8mm hob panels and 3000mm x 100mm x 20mm upstands.
