The breakfast bars available in Bushboard’s off-the-peg solid surface range are a real design plus for the contemporary kitchen. Available as a pre-fabricated blank, they come in 2400 x 900 x 44mm and feature one square end and one gently bowed end which is perfect for creating a sociable area for a cuppa or a spot of casual dining. They eliminate the need for bespoke fabrication to create the curved profile and vastly reduce time and fitting costs as they are installed with the same joinery techniques as laminate worktops.

A significant advantage of the Encore range is that it offers premium quality, pre-fabricated blanks in a range of design-friendly sizes. Worksurface blanks are supplied factory-edged on the two short sides and long front edge and are available in 4100 x 650 x 44mm. Breakfast bars are edged on four sides, with one square and one bowed end in an overall size of 2400 x 900 x 44mm. Completing the look are upstands in 3600 x 100 x 12mm; midway splashbacks in 4100 x 600 x 5mm and hob splashbacks in 1220 x 1200 x 5mm. The diversity of the product range offers the potential to achieve beautifully streamlined looks easily and cost effectively. Using their manufacturing expertise to volume manufacture solid surface blanks, Bushboard has opened up the mid market potential to a wider consumer audience who want solid surfacing at a more affordable price point ringing in at around a third of the cost of bespoke solid surfacing.
