Bushboard - relaunch Prima range
The new look Prima range showcases the brand's expertise in high print definition giving accurate reproduction of stones, granites and woodgrain decors in 14 new additions. Central to the re-launch is the innovative new Riverwash texture that features on six new stone effects and which totally differentiate the brand. Says Neil Horton, commercial director at Bushboard: "We have built on Prima's strengths for classic and stylish looks in stone and woodgrains. Riverwash is a totally innovative and beautifully tactile 3D texture that gives these worksurfaces a very distinctive quality." New to the 50-strong Prima line-up are the six Riverwash stones, three high gloss effects in Olympus Brown, Italica Crema and Amber Kashmir, plus trend-led woodgrains in wenge, walnut and zebrano. Worksurfaces are available in 3m, 3.6m and 4.1m lengths in widths of 600, 665 and 900mm. Bushboard - a truly independant British ManufacturerAfter the Management Buy Out of Bushboard in 2000, the management team has secured its complete independence by buying back the bank's equity stake in the company. This follows the company's strategic decision to sell its sister company Twyford Bushboard. Heading the Bushboard team, Managing Director Stuart White explained, 'Owning Bushboard outright is very exciting for all of the Directors and staff at Bushboard. It's the culmination of 6 years hard work and puts us fully in control of our own destiny. After a period of strong sustainable growth we are looking forward to focussing all of our energies to broaden our products and services in a market driven by choice and quality'. The sale of the cubicle and washroom division, Twyford Bushboard, formed one part of a simultaneous Management buy in. Amwell Systems, also a washroom producer, formed the remaining half. Both have been sold to Chairman Martin Rees and co-director Jon Sherry under the new parent group RS Building Products Ltd. The sale released enough capital to pay off its venture capitalist 8 years ahead of schedule. Bushboard partners with Formica to produce its Prima range and with Polyrey for its Omega and Odyssey brands. Recent innovations include the development of Upstands, a new 60mm chunky worktop programme and the option of Microban built-in antibacterial protection. |
