High gloss worksurfaces require a gentle buffing afterwards. | Requires a little more effort but worth it. Wipe down with water and a mild detergent, then rinse with clean water and gently buff the surface dry. | Scratch resistant | All worktops require treating with TLC. Use chopping boards and avoid dragging items across the surface. Bear in mind that all worksurfaces will scratch, even natural granite. And be aware that fashion items such as high gloss, dark colours, and woodgrains carrying a flat finish will tend to show scuffs and scratches more easily, whilst paler more heavily textured or busier patterned colours will tend to mask scratches. | Solid surface is the only material where everyday scuffs and marks can be polished away by using a care kit. Even deeper scratches or gouges are repairable; just call you original installer for advice. Bear in mind that all worksurfaces will be susceptible to everyday scuffs or scratches and these will be more obvious on darker colours, whilst they may be almost indiscernible on paler ones. In fact over time tiny surface abrasions and wear marks build to a lovely patina. The use of chopping boards and avoiding dragging items across the surface will reduce everyday wear. | M-stone quartz offers scratch and scuff resistance at levels far in excess of high pressure laminate and solid surface. However bear in mind it is possible to scratch all worktops even natural granite or quartz. So please continue to protect your surfaces. Although they are rare, scratches are not easily removed. Always use chopping boards and avoid dragging items across the surface. Any scratches will be less discernible on pale colours and more obvious on darker ones. |
